American Colloid Company’s Metalcasting Products Group produces blended mineral binders containing sodium and calcium bentonite and organic additives sold under the trade name Additrol®. Castings produced from these materials serve automotive, farm implement, railroad and machine tool markets, among others.
We provide a global network of technical support for our products, which include bentonite, customized performance blends, chromate sand, cellulose, specialty carbonaceous materials, carbon sand, cupola briquettes along with metal treatment products for non-ferrous foundries. Our team of support specialists work with individual foundries to optimize process performance and casting production.
